Camden Council has launched a consultation on introducing a Late Night Levy for premises selling alcohol between 00.00 and 06.00.

The only proposed exemption is for premises open between the above hours on New Year’s Day (i.e. New Year’s Eve trading). No categories of reductions are proposed.

The consultation closes Friday 8th May 2015 and the decision whether to implement the Levy will be taken by the full Council in autumn 2015 with a view to implementing any agreed Levy between autumn 2015 and spring 2016.

Details of how to respond to the consultation can be found on the Council’s website here.

We would urge all those affected to respond and if you need any assistance in this, please contact us.
