The Food Standards Agency has published the food law enforcement data by Local Authorities, for the year 2016/2017.

The information has been released ahead of the full 2016/2017 statistics report and is part of a drive by the Food Standards Agency, to improve transparency, when presenting individual Local Authority food hygiene and food standards statistics.

The data reflects the growing enforcement of regulatory food law, and the information will be of particular interest to operators whose Local Authorities are at the forefront of formal prosecutions.

Should you find yourself the subject of proceedings in relation to Food Safety prosecutions, we are on hand to offer both advice and representation should the matter proceed to court.

Please call us on 0114 266 8664 and ask for Paul Henocq
