2020

As widely reported across the media this morning the Prime Minister is expected to announce today further measures impacting the hospitality industry.

A 10pm curfew is being briefed to journalists and the Prime Minister will confirm his plans before Parliament at lunchtime and in a televised address to the nation at 8 pm this evening.

Although we await sight of the final regulations (expected to come into force on Thursday) we can look to other local regulations currently in force as an example of how the curfew and mandatory table service requirements may appear in the national regulations.

The North East 'lockdown' resturctions can be found here. From 18th September Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle City, Northumberland, Sunderland, North & South Tyneside (amongst other areas around the country) have been subject to restrictions now being briefed to the media for the rest of the England.

We shall keep you updated.
