Covid 19 - Self Employed Grant

02 Jun
2021

As we hopefully move into full relaxation of restrictions there are still businesses and business owners who are seeing the impact of Covid 19 and either no income or reduced income.

The government have today confirmed the closure of Claims for the fourth grant as of the 1st June.

It was also announced today the opening of eligibility for the fifth grant which will cover the period May 2021 to September 2021. Details can be found in this document: 'Self-Employment Income Support Scheme fifth grant'.

This document is important as the terms for eligibility have changed, see under the heading “How the fifth grant is different”.

The amount of the fifth grant will be determined by how much your turnover has been reduced in the year April 2020 to April 2021.

We’ll provide more information and support by the end of June 2021 to help you work out how your turnover was affected.
