CHRISTOPHER GRUNERT joined the firm in January 2007 from a leading licensing firm in the North East of England. Christopher is an experienced lawyer in both Licensing and Gaming matters having appeared before numerous Committees on behalf of both national and local operators.
Christopher has advised in a wide range of licensing matters including Lotteries, bespoke projects, Betting office application and a number of reviews and appeals. Christopher’s experience allows him to assemble the required advice and evidence to present the most complicated and expansive cases.
Christopher’s interests include developments in the Gaming field and he has a keen interest in the reform brought about by the Gambling Act 2005. Christopher forms part of the Gaming team of the firm. With Tim Shield, Christopher is assisting the firms gaming clients through reform.
Christopher’s major achievement involved relocated from the North East to Yorkshire, buying a new house while simultaneously organising his own wedding, and a honeymoon at the other side of the world, all within 4 weeks! At weekends Christopher now spends his time conducting foolish and elaborate DIY jobs in the hope that one day he might rest.
