Our “One Stop Shop” facility, with regard to Personal Licence applications are still operating at a discounted rate. This is the most efficient way to obtain a Personal Licence and as well as saving you time, it will save you money.
Additionally, on the training front, the Home Office have recently announced the consultation in relation to training of door supervisors the requirement of “top up” training and for SIA operatives to undertake compulsory renewal training in particular every 3 years when renewing their licences. This does not bode well for the Liquor Licensing Industry, at present once you have secured your NCPLH it remains valid throughout the life of your Personal Licence and potentially thereafter once you have renewed your licence. However, with SIA having to re-train every 3 years and your colleagues in Scotland having to retake the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders every 5 years, there is an increasingly high probability that the training requirements for England and Wales will also change.
