Wales - Tobacco Vending Machine Ban Confirmed

Following on from our earlier updates on the subject the Welsh Assembly has now approved “The Protection from Tobacco (Sales from Vending Machines) (Wales) Regulations 2011”  which will introduce a ban on tobacco vending machines in Wales with effect from 1^st February 2012.

We wait to see if any Judicial Review of these regulations will be pursued as was announced by Imperial Tobacco in February regarding the English proposals.
