BST ends 30 October 2011
07 October 2011
British Summer time ends at 2.00am Sunday 30 October.
This means that at 2.00am on that Sunday the time becomes 1.00am and premises entitled to trade to 2.00am or later can enjoy an extra hour of trade (unless there is something specific on your licence preventing this).
An early reminder however that on 25 March 2012, when BST next begins, the reverse is true and unless you have a specific provision on your licence to cover the clocks going forward, you may wish to consider a Temporary Event Notice to ensure that you do not lose an hours trade when at 1.00am on that day, the time becomes 2.00am.
