Police Reform and Social Responsibility Bill 2010-11 - Update?

With the Parliamentary Recess technically over, it is back to ‘business as usual’ and the House of Commons is due to consider House of Lords amendments to the above today; but before you get the least bit excited, such consideration seems limited to non-licensing related aspects of the Bill.

As it turned out, few – if hardly any amendments – to the licensing provisions were successful in the Lords, in any event.   Secondary legislation is required to implement some of the proposals on which consultation is shortly promised.
