01 February 2010

The Scottish Tourism Week is now in its fifth year (running from 2 March until 8 March 2010) and aims to raise the profile of tourism as a key contributor to the Scottish economy. Tourism in fact contributes some £4.2 billion to its economy.

One of the week’s events is a Scotch whisky taster session at the renowned Scotch Whisky Training School. Staff will take you through the best steps to serving, selling and up-selling whisky.

This taster session will run on Thursday 4th March 2010 at The Scotch Whisky Experience, 354 Castlehill, The Royal Mile, Edinburgh EH1 2NE and will start at  2pm registration from 1.30p.m.

Tickets are priced at £10 which is redeemable against the cost of the full course should you book a place on an upcoming Training School.

To reserve a place on the taster session, please email invite@scotchwhiskyexperience.co.uk by Friday 19th February 2010. Should you require further information please call them on 0131 220 0441.
