Late Night Refreshment Licences

Premises selling hot food or hot drinks after 11pm at night will need a premises licence.

This will apply to take-away outlets, restaurants, and cafés.

Late night refreshment houses will need to check that they have planning permission to remain open after 11pm. It is not uncommon that a separate planning application is necessary. We are able to assist on planning matters as part of your licence application.

Multiple Occupancy Dwelling Licences

Landlords who operate residential houses where tenants share communal facilities may need an annual licence from their local authority.

Penalties for non compliance are significant and landlords are urged to contact David Hollis on 0114 229 6704 to check whether they require a licence.
