APLH (England and Wales) - formerly NCPLH
Our most popular course is the recently renamed BIIAB - Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) formerly the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH). This qualification is a pre-requisite to applying for a Personal Licence. The course covers all the basic knowledge you require to work in a licensed environment. Our pass rate for the APLH during 2010 was 97.9%. We consider that this speaks for itself with regard to the quality of our training.

The course lasts one day, commencing at 9.00 a.m. The Licensing Act 2003 is explained in detail and revision sessions take place towards the end of the day; these sessions help prepare you for the examination.
If you are concerned about the exam contact our Course Administrator, Laura Mateer to discuss the different forms of help we can provide to you. For instance the exam can be taken in several different languages and extra time can be allowed in certain circumstances.

We understand how important your time is and how very often you will need a Personal Licence urgently. With this in mind, we have devised "a one stop shop", during the course we deal with your training and legal requirements to apply for a Personal Licence in an efficient and ‘hassle free' manner'. This substantially reduces the time to receipt of your Personal Licence. An additional benefit to you is the price; the one stop shop is provided at a discounted rate when both the APLH and Personal Licence application are booked and undertaken together.
